Xiaomi, a China-based smartphone company, is all set to capture bigger Indian mobile market in 2017. The company’s Indian unit is working to target the broad Indian audience including both middle and lower-middle class people.
Xiaomi entered the Indian market in April 2014. Its product “Redmi Note 3” had made people crazy in India. Redmi Note 3 is available in two variants, 2 GB RAM with16 GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32 GB ROM for 9,999 and 11,999 INR respectively.
Xiaomi has sold out around 3 million units of Redmi Note 3 in 2016 and became the third largest Indian mobile vendor of 2016. Keeping competition in mind, it has launched an upgraded model of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 known as “Redmi Note 4” having 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM.
To capture even wider Indian market, Xiaomi has announced four upcoming devices under 10000 INR. The launching of Xiaomi’s best phones under 10000 INR is expected either in the February or March 2017.
