In a recent interview, Ross Duffer delivered this excellent news “Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
So far, Netflix hasn’t released any official announcement regarding these rumors. However, the odds do seem to lie in favor of Stranger Things since the TV show was among the most popular ones over Netflix. That depends entirely on when Season 4 is released. Previously the production of the fourth season came to a stop mid-way due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, the previously rumored January 2021 release date will now have to be pushed back further into the year.
